A Dominican was shot, execution style in Queens, New York, the New York Daily News has reported.
The newspaper has obtain video which it says shows the moment a gunman casually shot Peter Panthier Jr, 26, as they walked on a Queen’s street last Saturday.
Panthier was shot in the head twice.
The video showed the killer running off as Panthier crumbled on the sidewalk.
“They were walking together like they were friends, and he shot him. I can’t understand it,” the New York Daily News quoted Panthier’s father, Peter Panthier Sr as saying. “He was executed. Oh my God, he was executed.”
The younger Panthier was rushed to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital where he died.
According to the New York Daily News, Panthier, who is originally from Dominica, lived with his family in the East New York section of Brooklyn.
His family told the newspaper that they didn’t know who his friends were, and they hadn’t heard he was in any type of trouble.
Panthier had no criminal record.
