Several Dominicans have taken to social media to tell of their experience of an earthquake that shook the island on Monday morning.
The UWI Seismic Research Center said the tremor took place at 10:42 am.
The center reported that the epicenter of the quake was 46.0 km NNW of Roseau, Dominica and 61.0 km S of Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe
It mesuared 3.5 on the Richter Scale and took place 10 km below the surface.
Residents from mostly the northern part of Dominica took to Facebook to say they felt the quake.
There are no reports of damage or injuries.
